A logistics company built to keep a promise.
Fine furnishings get promised twice: once when the designer presents the vision, and again when someone says the pieces will arrive perfect. Trade Receiving exists to keep the second promise.
Where we come from
Trade Receiving grew out of the warehouse and delivery operation behind Seville Home, the fine-furnishings showroom in Leawood that built its reputation on white-glove care. For years, the same crew received, inspected, prepped, and installed pieces that clients waited months for. Designers who worked alongside the showroom kept asking the same question: can your warehouse handle our projects too?
In 2026 the answer became a company. Trade Receiving launched as a purpose-built logistics firm in a new 27,000-square-foot warehouse in Olathe, serving the entire Kansas City design trade with the standard of care that used to be reserved for one showroom. Seville Home remains a proud partner and our first client, and every designer account gets the same trucks, the same crew, and the same standard.

How we operate
The business runs on three commitments. Everything is documented: every item photographed at receipt, damage flagged quickly. Everything is published: the full fee schedule is public, so logistics can be quoted before the first piece ships. And everything installs to the designer's plan: room-of-choice placement, light touch-ups complimentary, and a crew that treats the client's home like the finished product it is.
The designer firewall
Working for the design trade means sitting inside designers' client relationships, so the boundary is absolute: Trade Receiving sells logistics and nothing else. We never market to the homeowners we deliver to, and account details, sidemarks, sources, and pricing stay confidential.
Who you'll work with
Operations are led by President Gil Urenda, who built and ran the delivery operation this company grew from, alongside CEO Phil Reynolds. Business development is led by Jessica Gordon, the first call for designers exploring an account, and administration is run by Angelica Urenda. On the floor and on the truck, the receiving and delivery crew are the same professionals whose work earned the reputation the company was founded on.
Exceptional design deserves exceptional delivery.
A room only becomes the rendering in the last fifty feet, on the truck ramp, up the stairs, and into place. That is the part of the project we own.
